Friends of the Prairie Wetlands Learning Center is a 501c(3) nonprofit and we rely on the generous support of our donors to help us develop top quality education programs for adults and children. Our mission is to continue to teach our community and visitors about our precious native prairie wetlands.

Programs
Current Initiatives & Projects
The Friends of the PWLC reimburses funds to cover 35% of transportation costs for school groups visiting the Prairie Wetlands Learning Center.
Donations help the PSC purchase equipments such as digital cameras, skis, snowshoes, bows and arrows
Donations to Friends of PWLC help maintain the Visitor Center and provide essential equipment
Your support helps provide educational materials, equipment, and hands-on experiences for Biology Camp participants.
Students and community members raise native plants through greenhouse programs with the help of the Friends donations.
